Goa Lions is the franchise poker team representing City of Goa in Match Indian Poker League (MIPL), formed in 2017 to promote poker as skill game/sports in tournament format!

Goa Lions, established in February 2018 is one of the 10 teams in the MIPL 2nd season, is owned by Kolkata based Ability Games (a unit of Stuti Hardware Pvt. Ltd.) Goa Lions has participated in the 2nd season of MIPL with rocking 8 poker players having spirit, aggression and the ability to display poker as mind sport in the face of adversity.

We are the lions who play for winning! But for us, playing in the correct spirit is equally crucial. We are: Lion-hearted, Feisty, Zealous, Entertaining, Daring and Poker Fan-oriented!!
